How did you find your favorite nude lipstick?
As a woman of color sometimes it’s hard to find nude lipsticks that match my skin tone perfectly. I found my favorite lipsticks by watching beauty YouTube reviews.
What do you take into consideration when buying a nude lipstick?
When buying a nude lipstick I make sure to get one that is closest to my skin tone, not too drying, and long-lasting.
What are your favorite nude lipsticks?
My current favorites are: MAC Cosmetics’ Derriere (paired with the MAC’s Chestnut liner) and double shot, Uoma Beauty in Angela, NYX – Vacation Spot Butter Lipstick and ColourPop – Limbo.
How did you find your favorite nude lipstick?
I found my favorite nude lipstick through an Instagram ad.
What do you take into consideration when buying a nude lipstick?
What made me consider buying the lipstick was that it was a makeup brand designed for people of color and their shades flatter my skin tone to perfection.
What are your favorite nude lipsticks?
My favorite nude lipsticks are Mented Cosmetics Semi-Matte lipstick in the shade Nude Lala and Vive Cosmetics liquid lipstick in the shade Spanglish.
How did you find your favorite nude lipstick?
I pretty much only wear nude lipstick and my fave “your lips, but better” shade is Gabby by Jane Iredale.
What do you take into consideration when buying a nude lipstick?
I’ve really gotten into clean makeup recently after a family member of mine got sick, and I started paying attention to what’s on my beauty labels as much as I look at my nutrition labels.
Jane Iredale has been ahead of the curve in terms of leaving out questionable ingredients for a long time now and I love her for it. I actually got to meet her, and her team gifted me the shade — but then I fell in love. I’ll definitely be purchasing when my tube is used up.
What are your favorite nude lipsticks?
The Triple Luxe Long Lasting lipstick is so moisturizing, sometimes I use it in place of lip balm! But before I got into clean beauty, my old standby was Copper Pink 09 by Make Up Forever, and even though it’s not in my kit anymore, it’s still very, very good.
How did you find your favorite nude lipstick?
I found my favorite nude lippie by going into the MAC store a few years ago and trying different ones until the right one screamed at me.
What do you take into consideration when buying a nude lipstick?
I like to make sure the lipstick isn’t ashy. Since I’m of a darker skin tone nude lips can sometimes come off as ashy-looking so I like to be sure it goes well with my skin tone.
What are your favorite nude lipsticks?
I have a couple that I like but my all-time favorite nude lip is Honey Love by Mac Cosmetics. I’ve bought this same lipstick like three times now.
How did you find your favorite nude lipstick?
I found my favorite nude lipstick through trial and error. You may see a lipstick and think it’ll look good, and once you swatch it, it looks different. I had to try many until I found the one that was perfect for me. Apart from that, I also did some research by watching some of my favorite beauty influencers and YouTubers. I focused on women of color who had a similar skin tone to mine and paid attention to their lipstick recommendations.
What do you take into consideration when buying a nude lipstick?
When I’m buying a nude lipstick, I pay attention to the quality, formula, and packaging/design. It’s important for me to have a nice lipstick that has convenient packaging, a simple design, and a creamy formula that isn’t drying.
What are your favorite nude lipsticks?
My favorite nude lipsticks are the NYX Butter Glosses in the shades Gingersnap and Praline, and the L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in the shade Ginger Spice.

I found both my favorite nude lipstick and nude lip-gloss through recommendations from my friends.
What do you take into consideration when buying a nude lipstick?
When buying a nude lipstick or lip-gloss I take my skin tone into consideration, finding the right shade for my brown skin is a must! I also take the price, brand, ingredients and how it feels on my lips into consideration.

My favorite nude lip-gloss is Sepia by Anastasia Beverly Hills, it’s full coverage, long-lasting, smooth lip gloss with the right amount of shine. My favorite nude lipstick is NARS Audacious Lipstick in Deborah, it’s smooth, comfortable, and has a very rich color.
