Venezuelan-born TV host, public speaker and model Yanina Oyarzo is extremely busy — and she’s always been that way. “I was into anything creative growing up,” she tells me. “I was a dancer, I was in a band and I liked being in front of the camera because I’ve always been a talker.” Fast-forward to today she’s living in Los Angeles and appearing in TV commercials, interviewing celebrities like T.I. backstage and showcasing her ample mane in print ads for brands like The Ouai. Outside of her on-screen persona, she’s a big self-care and beauty advocate, always providing makeup and hairstyling tips to her fans. “I legitimately have my own Sephora,” she tells me laughing. Since she’s an expert of all things beauty, I wanted to know her absolute favorite products — here are her eight must-haves.

1. iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum Advance+
Yanina Oyarzo: The older I get the less makeup I want to wear. I remember when I was 16, I would try to get into a club and would try to look 25 but really I just looked like a joke. Now I think less is more. Right now, I’m using my iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum every day. It’s a serum that my aesthetician, Johnny Fortune a.k.a My Skin Guy, gave me to try a few months ago. I put it on to start my skincare during my nighttime or morning routine. After I use a cleanser and after I’ve dried my face, that’s the first thing I use no matter what — I live by it.

2. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
I love this Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I’ve had it for so long, it smells and feels so good. I’m on camera a lot, so I like to prep as much as I can beforehand and this lip mask keeps my lips hydrated. I put it on at night or even if I’m home during the day and just let it sit there and get absorbed into my skin. It just makes my lips feel so much better.

3. Kiehl’s Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Herbal Concentrate
Another product that I use all the time during my morning and night routine, after I use the iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum, is my Kiehl’s Cannabis Sativa Oil. Everyone’s started to do things with cannabis and now there are all these other different weed products but this product is the original. The cannabis sativa seed oil is good for calming, rebalancing and healing your skin. Let’s say you suffer from severe acne and picked at your face, or happen to have a hormonal breakout or just got a facial done. This has healing ingredients that make your skin start re-formatting again, it advances the healing process. It’s like putting a good bandaid on it.

4. Smith & Cult Veiled Threat Weightless Micro-Blurring Foundation
When it comes to makeup, I’ve been using this company called Smith & Cult for a long time. It was originally a nail polish company and then they expanded and made little compact eyeshadows about two or three years ago. Recently they launched an entire makeup collection, which is so cool. They sent me the collection and I’ve been using their foundation every single day. I really like it because it lasts all day on me. It doesn’t make me oily even with the weather changing and looks really nice in pictures. It doesn’t look cakey. I really enjoy it and I use the color 250 in warm.

5. Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer and 6. Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
A cult product of mine is the Laura Mercier hydrating primer. I always love to put anything hydrating on my face, especially together with Laura Mercier’s translucent powder, which is their holy grail product, something I use every single day.

7. Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil
I’ve never had a precision type of product that makes your eyebrows look so natural. It matches my eyebrow color so well. I hate when I see super square, chalked-on eyebrows or if I see eyebrows are sparse. I like it to look nice and natural and to have the hair look full. This pencil gives my brows a very natural look.

8. Laura Mercier Lipliner in Hazelnut Tea
If you give me your address, I will send you one of these! I have put so many people on to this Laura Mercier lip liner. The one I love is called Hazelnut Tea. It’s literally all you need; you don’t need lipstick on top of it. You can put chapstick or a clear gloss, but it is the perfect color for any skin tone. Their formula lasts all day and it doesn’t break up. I hate when lip liners start breaking up into your lip lines or they start fading. I have used this lip liner for probably two to three years. Sometimes I’ll wear other lip liners because I’m trying to be adventurous, but I always go back to it. They just changed their formula and their packaging and it’s even better. I get asked so many times on my Instagram — it’s probably my number one question — what do you have on your lips? And it’s always Laura Mercier and that liner.
